Frequently Asked Questions
What if I miss or can’t make a class?
All four classes will be recorded, so you will receive a recording via email.
What if I don’t know how to cook?
All Levels are welcome, I encourage you to join if you have a desire to learn, a desire to nourish yourself and/or your family, or a desire to feel good by way of whole, organic, real foods.
Is this course really for me?
-
Want to learn more healthy recipes and creativity in the kitchen?
-
Want to learn more about nutrition and food as medicine?
-
Have you enjoyed working with me in the past?
-
Do you need motivation or inspiration to cook more vibrant, healthy meals?
If you answered yes to any of the above, this course is for you.
What if I have allergies?
All meals are gluten-free, dairy-free and plant-based (everything can be altered to your personal preference). I will also go over substitutions for most allergens.
Why every other week?
The holidays can be a stressful time, I want class to be enjoyable and fun, each class will be designed around Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Christmas and New Years.
What if I don’t like the menu?
If you like my food and my style of cooking, I am confident you will like the menu.
Will we cook every session?
Yes! Every class we will cook. My goal is to show you an array of dishes, big and small and to provide value for the time we have together.

I really want to join but I live in a timezone that won’t allow me to, are you offering the class at another time during the week?
As of now our course will be live on Zoom during the times listed above. BUT, good news is once recorded it will be accessible for everyone.
How is this different from your Cooking Classes?
Imagine me as your Nutrition Coach and your Personal Chef. I want to give added emphasis to nutrition and different culinary techniques while we cook together. It's an 8-hour (total) Cooking Course rather than one 75-minute Cooking Class.
Can my spouse join?
Yes! But, the course is formatted for one person per sign up. If you have a friend in town or someone in the same room that's totally fine, but would ask that you be the sole interactive participant.
Can I mute myself if there are things going on in the background?
Of course, but the goal is to make this conversational, which leaves room for open dialogue and questions while we learn and cook together.
What kitchen equipment will I need?
-
High-Speed Blender or Food Processor
-
Stovetop and Oven
-
Oven-safe Ceramic, Cast Iron or Pyrex
-
Mixing bowls, mixing spoons
-
Small jars with lids or Tupperware
-
Cutting board
-
A mandolin (not mandetory)
-
A sharp knife
-
Sheet pan

What does a sample class look like?
A welcome intro, a lesson/conversation about the outlined nutrition topic which will coincide with the menu item(s). We will prepare/cook/create. Each class will close with a Q&A followed by a food mindset practice.
Do I have to be there the entire 2 hours?
Ideally yes. If you have to leave a little early or come late that’s ok. I would prefer you commit to the entire class.
When will I get the syllabus for the course?
Everything you need for the course will be in your inbox on Friday, November 12th.
What will I need to bring to each class?
Your computer or tablet, a notebook, a pen, the food / utensil list, an open mind, a beverage, and a smile.

Can I pay in installments?
Yes! All payments need to be made before 11/14/21. Please reach out here if you would like to set up a two time payment plan through Venmo or Paypal.
